Worth knowing
- Skip 2010–2011. The V6 engines in these years are prone to timing chain stretch, an expensive repair.
- Repair costs are high, and the touchscreen on later models can become unresponsive.
The trim we'd park in our garage
Look for a 2012 or later Luxury: the 3.6-liter V6 replaced the weaker early engines, and Luxury adds a power liftgate and heated seats over the base model.
On the test drive
Test the touchscreen on later cars for delaminated or unresponsive spots. Pay for an inspection at an independent shop that specializes in the brand.
Safety tech
- Automatic emergency braking: optional from 2013, never standard in this generation.
- Adaptive cruise control: optional from 2013, never standard in this generation.
- Blind-spot monitoring: not standard in this generation, so check the listing.
