Worth knowing
- Skip 2020–2021. Early Defenders had frequent electrical and infotainment problems. Confirm software updates and recall work.
- Air suspension and electronics are costly out of warranty, and the short 90 has little cargo room.
- It requires premium fuel.
The trim we'd park in our garage
Look for the SE with the six-cylinder P400: it adds upgraded LED headlights, more power seat adjustment and better audio over the S, and the six is much stronger than the four.
